Katniss is more like an antiheroine - she's the main protagonist and is meant to be the people's saving grace, but really she lacks the whole 'heroine' image. She's a little too angsty and messed up especially in Mockingjay.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree, nuttybeaver. Thanks for joining the discussion! It seems to sometimes be a reoccuring theme in many novels that the 'hero' or 'heroine' aren't actually the stereotypical 'good guys' we're so used to them being. Instead, they tend to have scruples and problems like the average person. Good observation!

ReplyDeleteI have to say, I think Liam Hemsworth makes a great Gale - though the real reason I'm so for the movie is 'cause I hope they make one of Book 2 so we can see FINNICK!
