Thursday Quotables ~ Earth & Sky by Megan Crewe

Hosted by BookshelfFantasies

It's Thursday Quotables today! Thursday Quotables is all about sharing a favorite quote, line, or passage from your reading each week. You know it's a good read when you come across a bunch of memorable quotes!

Today's quote comes from Earth & Sky by Megan Crewe. Earth & Sky is a YA sci-fi fantasy novel centred on seventeen-year-old Skylar, who has been haunted for as long as she can remember by fleeting yet powerful sensations that something is horribly wrong.

The quote I'm picking to share is one that describes this sensation Skylar experiences. I loved the sentence construction, the choice of words...everything!

Thursday Quotables ~ Trust Me, I'm Lying by Mary Elizabeth Summer

Hosted by BookshelfFantasies

It's Thursday Quotables today! Thursday Quotables is all about sharing a favorite quote, line, or passage from your reading each week. You know it's a good read when you come across a bunch of memorable quotes!

Today's quote comes from Trust Me, I'm Lying by Mary Elizabeth Summer. Trust Me, I'm Lying is a YA mystery thriller whose main female protagonist, Julep Dupree, is a practised liar, con artist, and master of disguise.

There were so many great quotes to choose from.  But I settled on a quote that I think really showcased Julep's character...

Thursday Quotables ~ All Lined Up by Cora Carmack

Hosted by BookshelfFantasies

This Thursday's memorable quote comes from All Lined Up (Rusk University #1), a book by author Cora Carmack.

The reason this quote stood out was because I'm a sucker for romantic monologues! I've re-watched the balcony end scene of Letters To Juliet more times than I can count. So when Dallas Cole spilled her feelings for Carson McClain, I knew that I had to bookmark that quote.

Thursday Quotables ~ Nobody by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

This Thursday's memorable quote comes from Nobody, a book by author Jennifer Lynn Barnes.

The reason this quote stood out from the myriad of sentences I've read through during the week, is because of how easy it is to apply to our everyday lives. How often have we ever felt alone, unwanted or like we simply don't exist? Sixteen year-old Claire's wise words stuck with me and I'm excited to share them with you all.
