Quick Picks ~ This Week's Top 3 Reads

This past week I've indulged in some great reads.

Today I'm bringing three of these to your attention: Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton, Frogkisser! by Garth Nix, and Vigilante by Kady Cross.

Each of these reads had something in common.

All three novels had strong, memorable heroines who were brought to life on the page. I hope they will intrigue you, entertain you, and above all have you falling in love with them just as much as I did.

Let's get listing!

Villains ~ Guest Post ft. Library Luv

Everybody loves a good villain.

When my lovely friend Library Luv came up with the idea of us working on two guests posts a month for one another, we sat down to brainstorm a list of topic ideas. Choosing which one to start off with was a difficult decision! But we finally settled on a topic that had us delving into the world of villains and evil doers.

Running this blog has given me the chance to meet so many incredible people.

Who are the complete opposite of villains! One of these is book blogger Library Luv. She runs Beyond The Book Reviews and is a book blogger of mostly YA fiction. And can I just say that I'm so excited to have her back on my blog! Working with her is lots of fun and her posts are always so creative.

So read on for Library Luv's 'Top Three Literary Villains' (you can find my list over on her blog here).

Long Way Home (Thunder Road #3) by Katie McGarry ~ Review

Queen Katie McGarry is back at it again with another Thunder Road adventure!

I can't believe we're up to the third Thunder Road novel already! The first novel, Nowhere But Here, seems like it came out just yesterday (but it was actually released mid 2015 how crazy is that?!). From Emily and Oz, to Breanna and Razor...and now finally we've come to Violet and Chevy's tumultuous romance.

Long Way Home is a YA contemporary romance novel published by Harlequin Teen and brings us the epic love story between Violet and Chevy with all its ups and downs, and twists and turns.

A big thank you to Harlequin Australia and Harlequin Teen (AUS) for providing me with a review copy of this book. And be sure to grab your copy of the next book in this emotionally charged series so you don’t miss out on more Katie McGarry goodness.

Read on for more info on the book, my thoughts, and more!
